Direct video URLs can easily be copied and shared when media is delivered without access protection. StreamVid provides integrations with Cloudflare Stream and Bunny.net to help protect video delivery.

Cloudflare Stream supports signed playback tokens with configurable expiration, while Bunny.net supports token-authenticated URLs with expiration controls. This helps reduce unauthorized reuse and sharing of direct playback links.

GO LIVE STRAIGHT FROM OBS

Live streaming integrates with Cloudflare Stream Live. Create your live event from WordPress, use the provided RTMPS URL and stream key with OBS Studio or another compatible RTMP encoder, and start broadcasting.

Viewers watch the live stream through the same site experience, with your configured membership and content-access rules applied.

A PLAYER BUILT FOR STREAMING

StreamVid supports Video.js 7 and Video.js 10, with the player engine selectable under Theme Options > Video Global > Player Engine.

Player features include HLS playback, quality switching, subtitle tracks, and supported episode downloads.

For portrait short-drama content, StreamVid also includes a vertical video player. Viewers can swipe between episodes for a mobile-first viewing experience similar to modern short-video and short-drama platforms.

Bulk import by filter (year, genre, popularity) or search for a single title by name. Cast, seasons, and episodes come in automatically, along with summaries, posters, backdrops, and trailers, and they land on the Movies, TV Shows, Episodes, and Person post types ready to publish.

StreamVid is designed to support integration with the TMDB API. TMDB data and images remain subject to TMDB’s terms and applicable third-party rights. Video delivery and playback

• Signed URLs – Cloudflare Stream issues a playback token that expires after one hour. Bunny.net URLs carry a token and an expiry stamp. A copied link stops playing.
• Live Streaming – Create a live event in the WordPress admin, then broadcast to it from OBS Studio or any RTMP encoder using the RTMPS URL and stream key shown on the event.

CHANGELOG

Flutter app for Android and iOS: sold separately, not part of this theme

StreamVid App is a Flutter app. It is a separate product on CodeCanyon at 299 USD, and it is not included with this WordPress theme. Buying the theme does not give you the app, its source code, or a license to it.

One Flutter codebase builds both the Android app and the iOS app. You get the full Flutter 3 source, the WordPress plugin that adds the REST API endpoints the app calls, and the publishing guides for Google Play and the App Store.

The build on Google Play is a demo, not the product you buy. It runs against a StreamVid WordPress site, so you can see the app and the WordPress admin working together before you decide. Install StreamVid App on Google Play and sign in with emily / user@1234, the same demo account as this theme demo.
