• Contacts: WHMCS supports multiple contacts, but Perfex only allows multiples for companies. For personal profiles, only the primary contact is synced for compatibility.


• Passwords: Passwords cannot be synced due to different encryption mechanisms. Imported users are assigned a secure default password, which they can reset anytime to log in.


• CRON Setup: For automated sync, a cronjob must be configured on your server. Manual sync is always available.

Q: Can I sync all contacts from WHMCS?
For company profiles yes. For personal profiles only the primary contact is synced, matching Perfex’s structure.

Q: Are passwords transferred?
No, passwords remain secure in WHMCS. Imported users receive a default password in Perfex which they can reset anytime. WHMCS and Perfex CRM use different encryptions for passwords storing, causing impossible to transfer those passwords.

Q: Is this a real-time sync?
No, sync is manual or via CRON. This ensures performance and avoids unnecessary server load.

Q: Do I need to edit core files?

  - Customers, contacts and invoices could be imported twice with the same WHMCS id.   Each import checked whether a record already existed, but a WHMCS API call ran   between that check and the insert, so a manual sync started while the automatic   sync was running could write the same record a second time.   * Only one synchronization now runs at a time. A second one stops and is logged     as skipped instead of importing anything.   * Every import re-checks right before it writes, after the WHMCS API call returns.   * The WHMCS id columns now carry a unique index, so a duplicate cannot be written     even if both guards are passed. - Contacts and invoices whose customer could not be created are now left for the   next run and logged, instead of being saved without a customer. - Import errors are no longer able to stop the whole synchronization. - "All historical data" no longer re-imports records that are already in Perfex.   It still reads every record in WHMCS without a date filter, but anything already   imported is skipped and logged rather than inserted again.
