AI Usage Disclosure

Vibe Messenger includes an AI chatbot powered by Groq and LLaMA 3.1. AI requests are securely processed through Firebase Cloud Functions. The Groq API key is stored server-side using Firebase Functions Secret Manager and is never included in the Flutter client application.

Buyers must configure their own Groq API credentials on the server side before using the AI functionality. The Groq API key should never be added to app_constants.dart, ai_service.dart, or any other Flutter/Dart source file.

The AI integration uses a secure server-side proxy architecture:

Flutter App → Firebase Cloud Function → Groq API → Firebase Cloud Function → Flutter App

The application does not expose the Groq API key to end users or store the key inside the client application. AI/API usage may incur additional costs according to the provider’s pricing and usage policies.

Groq AI Configuration

The AI feature requires a Groq API key configured on the Firebase Functions backend. The key is managed as a server-side secret and is not placed inside the Flutter application.

After creating your Groq API key, configure it using Firebase Functions Secret Manager:

firebase functions:secrets:set GROQ_API_KEY

Then deploy the Firebase Cloud Functions:

firebase deploy --only functions

The documentation included with the source code provides detailed instructions for Firebase configuration, Groq setup, Cloud Functions deployment, and troubleshooting.

Security: Never commit your real Groq API key to source control and never place it inside a Flutter/Dart file.

Firebase Setup

Vibe uses Firebase for authentication, database, storage, push notifications, and server-side Cloud Functions.

The distributed package does not contain the seller’s production Firebase project credentials. Buyers should create and configure their own Firebase project using the included documentation.

Agora Voice & Video Calling

Vibe uses Agora SDK for voice and video calling. The Agora App ID is used by the client, while the Agora App Certificate remains server-side and is never included in the Flutter application.

The included Firebase Cloud Functions generate the required RTC tokens securely. Detailed Agora configuration and deployment instructions are included in the documentation.
