Sky Drift – One Button 3D Drift Game

Sky Drift is a cozy one-button 3D drifting game on floating roads high above the city. Hold to drift right, release to drift left; the speed is automatic. Easy to learn, tricky to master, and ready to upload to any website.

Game Features

• Tutorial + 50 hand-made levels with a gentle difficulty curve: every level introduces one new idea
• Ramps and jumps, narrow bridges, barriers, road works, toll gates
• Speed bumps, wet roads, ice, potholes, wind gusts, ducks crossing the road, bouncing balls and parked vans
• Day, sunset, night, neon, rain, fog and snow themes with a generated 3D city around every track
• 3 hidden stars per level, coins and a combo multiplier
• 3 cars with different handling (2 unlocked with coins) and trophies
• Synthesized music and sound effects, sound toggle
• Keyboard, mouse and touch controls; desktop and mobile, portrait and landscape
• Progress saved automatically in the browser (localStorage)

Technical Features

• Built with Three.js and plain JavaScript (ES modules), bundled with Vite
• No image, model or audio files: every 3D model is built in code and all sound is synthesized – tiny download (about 1 MB)
• No ads, no tracking, no third-party SDK, no server or database needed
• Runs on any static web host (cPanel, Netlify, GitHub Pages, itch.io…), or embed it with an iframe
• Clean, commented source code; all tuning values in one config file
• Levels, cars, themes and trophies are simple data – easy to edit or add your own
• A single platform adapter file to plug in your own ads network or game portal SDK

Controls

• Desktop: hold Space or the mouse button to drift right, release to drift left. P / Esc pause, R restart, M sound
• Mobile: touch and hold anywhere to drift right, lift your finger to drift left

Requirements

• Any modern browser with WebGL 2: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari 15+, Opera, Android and iOS
• To edit the source: Node.js 20.19 or newer
