Important Notice — External Service Costs (Please Read Before Purchase)

Rydex is a self-hosted platform. The purchase price covers the source code and documentation only. To run Rydex in production, you must set up and pay for third-party services separately. These costs are not included in your CodeCanyon license and are billed directly by each provider.

Typical external services and costs you will need:

• VPS / cloud hosting — A Linux server (e.g. Ubuntu) to host the Laravel admin panel and API. Monthly hosting fees apply (provider and plan dependent).
• Domain name & SSL — Your own domain is required. SSL is usually free (e.g. Let’s Encrypt) but may depend on your host.
• Google Maps Platform — Required for maps, geocoding, places autocomplete, directions, and live tracking. Google Cloud billing must be enabled; usage is charged per API call after any free tier.
• Firebase (Google) — Required for push notifications, realtime updates, and related mobile features. A billing-enabled Firebase / Google Cloud project is needed; usage may incur charges beyond free quotas.
• SMS gateway — Required for OTP login and ride notifications (e.g. Twilio, MSG91, Vonage, or similar). Per-SMS/message fees apply.
• Payment gateway — Required for card/wallet payments (e.g. Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Paystack, or similar). Each provider has its own transaction fees and account setup.
• Email / SMTP — Required for transactional email (e.g. SendGrid, Amazon SES, or your host’s SMTP). May have monthly or per-email costs.
• Apple Developer Program — Required to publish the iOS apps ($99 USD per year, paid to Apple).
• Google Play Developer account — Required to publish the Android apps (one-time registration fee, paid to Google).
