Rummy Tiles is a classic tile rummy game built with HTML5 / Construct 3, played on a real 3D table. 106 number tiles in four colours plus two jokers are dealt to 2–4 players. Build runs and groups on the table, rearrange the sets and be the first to play every tile from your rack! Challenge 1–3 computer bots offline, or play with friends in an Online Multiplayer match. Your tiles stand in a blue 3D rack and you can drag the camera to orbit around the table.
Features:
How to Play
Objective:
Be the first player to play all the tiles from your rack onto the table.
Starting the Game:
Choose Play vs Computer (select 2, 3 or 4 players) or Play Online from the menu. Every player receives 14 tiles and the rest form the draw pile. The status text always tells you whose turn it is.
Valid Sets:
A run is 3 or more consecutive numbers of the same colour. A group is 3 or 4 tiles of the same number, all in different colours. A Joker can replace any tile.
Taking a Turn:
Drag tiles from your rack to the table to build sets. Your first move, the first meld, must add up to 30 points or more using only tiles from your own rack. After your first meld you may add to, split and rearrange the sets on the table: hold the first tile of a set for a moment and the valid tiles to its right follow it. When every set is valid, tap End turn and the table tidies itself. If you cannot play, tap Draw tile instead. Drag on an empty part of the table to rotate and tilt the camera.
Winning:
The first player with an empty rack wins. If the pile runs out and everyone passes, the player with the lowest total of remaining points wins.
Game Modes:
The game features two different ways to play:
Play vs Computer:
Play against the computer bots without requiring an internet connection. The bots build sets, extend existing sets and draw tiles on their own, so you can practice or enjoy a full match anytime.
Online Mode:
Choose Play Online and select the number of players. The game connects to a room and waits for the other players. The first player in the room becomes the host, who deals the tiles and checks every move; everyone sees the same table on their own device. If a player leaves during a match, the host replaces them with a bot.
Note on Online Multiplayer:
Online Multiplayer is powered by Construct 3’s built-in Multiplayer plugin and, by default, uses Construct’s free public signalling server to connect the players — so it works out of the box, with no extra setup required to play as described above.
However, please note that online multiplayer features in general are services that depend on an external network layer, and going beyond this basic setup — for example, more reliable connections on restrictive networks, player accounts, private rooms, matchmaking, leaderboards, or supporting a large number of concurrent players — often requires setting up an additional external backend, such as Firebase or Photon. These services typically involve ongoing subscription or usage-based hosting costs that are not included with this item and are the responsibility of the buyer/end user if they choose to add or scale up such features.
Play vs Computer mode works fully without an internet connection and does not require any backend service.
The project is built with Construct 3 and is designed to be exported as HTML5. The game can be played on PC, mobile devices, and tablets. The documentation includes a step-by-step guide to wrapping the exported HTML5 game for Google Play and the App Store.
