Powerful Filters is a feature-rich addon for wpDataTables that significantly extends the default filtering capabilities for tables in WordPress.

The addon introduces advanced filtering options that make it easier to navigate, refine, and explore large datasets:

• Cascade filtering (dependent) – Apply filters step by step from left to right, where each selection narrows down the available options in the next filter
• Cascade filtering (independent) – Select values in any order, with each filter dynamically updating all others, similar to tools like Excel or Google Sheets
• Hide table before filtering – Display only the filters initially, and show the table after a selection is made; ideal for large datasets
• Search button – Apply filters only after clicking a button, instead of updating results instantly
• Disable search button until all filters are selected – Prevent filtering until all required selections are made; works together with the search button option
