How to Play

Objective:
Win the pot with the best five-card hand, or make every opponent fold. You win the game when all opponents run out of chips.

Starting the Game:
Choose the number of players (2-10) on the menu, optionally type your name, then press PLAY VS AI or PLAY ONLINE. The two players after the dealer post the blinds and everyone receives two face-down cards that only you can see.

Taking a Turn:
When it is your turn, the buttons at the bottom light up and a pizza-slice timer runs around your character. Choose FOLD to give up, CHECK to pass when nobody has bet, CALL to match the highest bet, or raise with 1/2 POT, POT or ALL-IN. You have 25 seconds; when the time runs out the game checks or folds for you.

Flop, Turn and River:
Three community cards (the flop) are revealed, then one more (the turn) and a last one (the river), with a betting round after each. Make the best five-card hand from your two cards and the five cards on the table.

Showdown:
The remaining players’ cards are opened one by one. Each player’s best five cards fly to the centre of the table, then a board shows the ranking and explains the result, for example which pair or kicker decided the hand. Tap the board to continue.

Game Modes:
The game features two different ways to play:

  • PLAY VS AI – Play against 1 to 9 computer players without an internet connection. Each computer player has its own name and playing style.
  • PLAY ONLINE – Play in real time with 2 to 10 people. The game automatically finds or creates a room; the first player becomes the host and starts the game from the lobby.

Note on Online Multiplayer:
Online Multiplayer is powered by Construct 3’s built-in Multiplayer plugin and, by default, uses Construct’s free public signalling server to connect the players – so it works out of the box, with no extra setup required to play as described above.

However, please note that online multiplayer features in general are services that depend on an external network layer, and going beyond this basic setup – for example, more reliable connections on restrictive networks, player accounts, private rooms, matchmaking, leaderboards, or supporting a large number of concurrent players – often requires setting up an additional external backend, such as Firebase or Photon. These services typically involve ongoing subscription or usage-based hosting costs that are not included with this item and are the responsibility of the buyer/end user if they choose to add or scale up such features.

PLAY VS AI works fully without an internet connection and does not require any backend service.

Publishing to Mobile App Stores:
The project is built with Construct 3 and is designed to be exported as HTML5. The included documentation explains how to export the game as a web build and how to wrap the HTML5 output for Android and iOS app stores (Cordova export, online wrapper services, or a PWA / Trusted Web Activity package), including a store checklist. The game can be played on PC, mobile devices, and tablets.
