Noir Royale is a 3D HTML5 chess game designed to deliver a sophisticated and immersive chess experience directly in the browser. Built with Three.js, the game combines a cinematic dark interface, elegant gold accents, 3D chess pieces, interactive camera controls, multiple game modes and a powerful set of customization options.
Players can challenge the built-in AI across six difficulty levels, play locally with Pass & Play, participate in Puzzle Rush and Daily Challenge modes, review their moves, analyze completed matches and unlock achievements while tracking their chess statistics.
Noir Royale includes a built-in AI opponent with six selectable difficulty levels. Players can choose the appropriate challenge level before starting a match, ranging from Very Easy for beginners to Master for advanced players.
The game provides several ways to play. Start a new match against the AI, play locally using Pass & Play, challenge yourself with Puzzle Rush, or take part in the Daily Challenge mode.
Players can select different time controls before beginning a match. The available options include Unlimited, 10 Minutes, 5 Minutes and 3 Minutes, allowing the game to support both relaxed and faster-paced chess sessions.
Noir Royale uses a 3D chess environment powered by Three.js. The board, chess pieces, lighting effects and camera system work together to create a more immersive presentation than a traditional flat chess interface.
Players can control the camera, reset the camera position and enable automatic camera rotation after moves. Camera speed can also be adjusted through the settings panel.
The settings panel provides customization options for both the chess board and chess pieces. Players can select different board themes and piece finishes to create their preferred visual presentation.
After completing a match, players can open the Game Analysis panel to review their performance. The result screen also displays match statistics including accuracy, number of moves and game duration.
During a match, players can view the complete move history through the move list and timeline. The interface also provides opening information when available, making it easier to review and understand the progression of a game.
Optional Chess Coach commentary provides contextual guidance during gameplay. Players can also enable legal move hints to assist with learning and exploring possible moves.
Noir Royale includes dedicated Statistics and Achievements panels. Players can track their progress and unlock achievements as they play and complete different challenges.
The interface uses a sophisticated dark visual theme with gold highlights, glass-style panels, elegant typography and subtle lighting effects. The overall design is intended to provide a premium, cinematic chess experience.
Players can select from four graphics quality levels to adjust the visual performance of the game according to their device.
