Multiplayer Blackjack is an add-on game for the 1Stake iGaming Platform. Please note: this add-on requires the 1Stake iGaming Platform to be purchased and installed first — it won’t work on its own.
Multiplayer Blackjack brings a true live-casino atmosphere to your online casino by allowing players to compete against each other instead of the house. Users join a shared table, place their bets in real time, and play classic blackjack according to familiar rules. Because wins are funded by other players’ losses and the house retains a configurable fee, this add-on offers engaging skill-based gameplay with no volatility risk for the casino.
Players can browse existing rooms or create their own table by specifying the room name, bet size, and maximum number of participants. When a new room is created, its creator joins automatically and can leave at any time when there is no hand in progress. To prevent abuse and ghost rooms, each user can have a limited number of active rooms (configurable by the casino administrator), and empty rooms are removed automatically on a regular basis.
After joining a room and placing a bet, all players at the table receive two cards. The first card is dealt face up so other players can see it, while the second card remains hidden. Players then take turns to act — hit to draw additional cards or stand to keep their current total — within a configurable turn timer. When only a few seconds remain, a hit action can be configured to automatically stand after dealing one card, making it harder for opponents to track exact totals and adding more excitement to each round.
The hand ends once all active players have completed their turns. The pot consists of all players’ bets; the winner (or winners, in case of a tie) is the player with the highest total not exceeding 21. The pot is then distributed between the winning players, minus the house fee. A natural blackjack (an ace plus a ten-value card) can immediately decide the outcome, while a round where all players bust results in no winners and the casino keeping the entire pot.
Multiplayer Blackjack is designed to deliver a fair and transparent card game experience. Game results can be reviewed in the history section so players and operators can verify that outcomes follow the rules and are not manipulated. This helps build trust and improves player retention on your casino website.
