This addOn requires Modern Video Player WordPress plugin to be installed first!

User AddOn for Modern Video Player WordPress plugin enables registered WordPress users to interact (comment, like and favorite) videos inside the Player.

Admin can choose user roles which can access these features.

Comments, likes and favorites can be enabled per Player so admin can choose which Players have these features.

Users will be able to see and manage their own likes and favorites inside WordPress plugin menu. Users can also create playlists from liked and favorited videos and use default shortcodes (for example most liked videos, most liked weekly, monthly, yearly etc.. )

Continue watching video list optionally available to users (show list of last watched videos that havent been watched till the end).

• Restrict access to videos by user roles (assign user roles which can access specific videos or whole playlists)
• Allow users to manage their content (user can have like, favorites, continue watching video list menu in WordPress admin plugin menu where they can see their own data)
• Allow user interaction with user roles (assign user roles which can comment, like and favorite on videos in Player)
• Custom shortcodes for likes and favorites (most like this week, month, all time for each user and all users)
• Admin can manage comments, likes, favorites, reports in backend
• Users can create custom playlists from likes and favorites and save them
• Continue watching video list optionally available to users (show list of last watched videos that havent been watched till the end)
• Full comment functionality (main comment and replies to comments)
• Comment pagination for faster loads
• Report comment functionality (users can report comments and admin has access to report manager in backend)
• Send email to user on comment reply
• Vote on comments functionality (users can like, dislike comments)
• Report video functionality (users can report videos and admin has access to report manager in backend)
• Non logged in users will be presented with option to login first (using Ajax) when they try to comment, like etc..
• Ajax login to WordPress for non logged in users with signup option
• Enables for future expansion and new features

Notes:

• User addon on frontend is available with following player layouts: Playlist Vertical right and bottom, Playlist vertical bottom, Playlist horizontal bottom, no visible playlist (just player)
• User addon is placed beneath video in the layout
