School Management System — Laravel 12 API + React Web Portal + Mobile App

A complete school management platform that ships as three connected applications: a Laravel 12 REST API, a React 19 web portal, and a native mobile app for Android and iOS built with React Native. All three share the same live data, so a mark entered by a teacher on a phone is on the parent’s screen instantly, with nothing to sync.

It is built for real schools and school networks. A Super Admin runs every campus from one login and switches between them from the top bar; a Branch Admin sees only their own. Teachers get their classes, students get their own records, and a parent sees all of their children in a single account. Every role gets a dashboard built for what they actually do, rather than one generic screen with parts hidden.

Parents are reached where they already are. The system talks to WhatsApp through Meta’s official Cloud API — no third-party reseller and no phone left plugged in at the office — sending fee vouchers, payment confirmations, absence alerts and results automatically. For urgent notices it can also place an automated voice call that reads the message aloud.

Sign in as each role to see how differently the system presents itself. The four accounts belong to one school: the teacher takes the class the student sits in, and the parent is that student’s father.

The mobile app uses the same four logins. An APK is available on request.

Security

This is where most scripts in this category cut corners, so it is worth being specific.

• Every endpoint is permission-checked. Being signed in is never sufficient on its own — each action requires the permission for that action, enforced in the API rather than by hiding a button.
• Student photographs are not publicly readable. They are served through short-lived signed links that expire, so knowing or guessing a filename gets you nothing.
• Teaching material is protected the same way — syllabuses, study materials and lecture video.
• Private documents are sealed off entirely — diaries, message attachments and accounting paperwork are unreachable from the web.
• Branch isolation is enforced server-side, so editing a URL will not reach another campus’s data.
