RKHM is a self-hosted audio streaming platform and music marketplace. Build a service under your own brand, offer subscriptions, sell tracks and albums, and let approved artists earn from their work. Manage your catalog, listeners, creators and payments from one admin panel.
Start with the included music platform. Add podcasts, internet radio, audiobooks or a beat store through separately purchased plugins as your business grows. Run one format or combine several with shared accounts and administration.
Your hosting. Your domain. Your business rules. The software license is a one-time purchase, with no monthly Busyowl platform subscription. Hosting, payment processing and any optional services are separate.

Use these options together or build around one model: a subscription catalog for your label, a direct music store, or a community where verified creators publish and sell.
Organize music into tracks, albums, artists and genres. Listeners can explore your catalog, build playlists, save a personal library and follow creators. Public profiles and comments help connect the audience with the people behind the music.
The mobile-friendly interface and Progressive Web App support give listeners access from desktop and phone browsers, with home-screen installation and eligible downloads for offline listening on supported devices. Android and iOS hybrid app projects are available separately through the Hybrid Mobile App plugin.
Use PageBuilder to arrange catalog widgets, artist sections, album rows and landing-page content in the browser. Build pages around a genre, a label or a particular audience without editing page templates for everyday layout changes.
The included Shady theme gives you a starting point. Configure navigation and branding from the administration tools, and translate interface labels and supported catalog content for your audience.
Add your own authorized audio, manage creator uploads, or use supported import and automation tools. Scheduled jobs can help populate and maintain catalog records; available integrations include Spotify metadata and supported external media sources. Bulk-import tools help bring an existing music library into the platform.
Integrations use the relevant provider’s accounts, access permissions and terms. Metadata imports do not supply rights to recordings. External-service availability and limits depend on the provider; your own authorized media can form the foundation of your service.
Manage records, users, permissions, advertising, statistics and plugins from the admin panel. Give staff the access they need through roles and moderator permissions, and use bulk editing to reduce repetitive catalog work.
These extensions are separate purchases. Demos show different configurations; any paid plugins and additional themes they use must be purchased separately.
For a new installation, PHP 8.3 or newer with MySQL or MariaDB is the recommended hosting target. You need the required PHP extensions, URL rewriting and a scheduled cron job; HTTPS is required for PWA features. Media conversion requires working FFmpeg support and permission to run the relevant server processes. Check the installation guide for the requirements of the version you install.
Choose storage, bandwidth and server capacity for your catalog and expected audience. The installer checks the environment; the documentation covers installation, pages, content, permissions, payments and updates.
Can I run streaming and a store together?
Yes. Configure subscription access and individual purchases within the same music platform.
Are podcasts, radio, audiobooks and beats included?
Music is included. The other formats require their respective paid plugins.
Are Android and iOS apps included?
The web interface and PWA support are included. Cordova hybrid app projects require the Hybrid Mobile App plugin and your own developer accounts. iOS compilation requires a Mac and Xcode; store acceptance is subject to each store’s requirements.
What content and services do I need to supply?
Bring suitable hosting, your merchant accounts and content you are authorized to use. Demo recordings, artwork and third-party content rights are not included. Six months of item support covers item questions and issues; installation and custom development are outside standard support.
Which Envato license should I choose?
Choose according to your intended service and Envato’s Regular and Extended License rules. Review Envato’s license FAQ before purchasing for a service with paid access.
Explore the listener experience, then open the admin panel to inspect catalog management, plans and permissions. For individual sales, try the store demo; it also uses the paid Podcast, Extra Gateways and Affiliate plugins.
