ABOUT THE GAME

Cocktail Beach is an HTML5 slot machine game made in Construct 3, shipped together with an optional Node.js + MongoDB backend for server-side game logic. It is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot with 20 paylines, scatter-triggered free spins, cascading (drop) symbols and Big Win / Mega Win / Super Mega Win celebrations.

Out of the box the game runs 100% in the browser – just upload and play. When you are ready for server-authoritative gameplay, the included backend moves spins, balances, RTP control and history onto your own server with persistent MongoDB storage.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standalone game: any web server or shared hosting that can serve static files (Apache, Nginx, IIS, etc.). No PHP, no database required. Must be served over http:// or https:// (not file://). Modern browser with WebGL.
• Backend (optional): Node.js 18+ and npm on a host that can run Node processes (VPS, Render, Railway, Heroku, etc.), plus MongoDB (local or free MongoDB Atlas cloud).
• To edit the game: Construct 3 (r466 or newer) with a paid subscription to edit and export the included .c3p source, plus the free third-party “Better Outline” addon by skymen (installed via the Construct 3 Addon Manager).
• Mobile export (optional): Android (Cordova) / iOS (Cordova) export via Construct 3.
• Note: the exported scripts (c3runtime.js, main.js, sw.js, etc.) are auto-generated by the official Construct 3 exporter; the original readable source is the included .c3p project (visual event sheets). The backend ships as plain, readable Node.js source files.
