Career Portal V2.0

Career Portal is a modern multi-role job board and training platform built with CodeIgniter 4. Jobseekers create profiles, search vacancies, and apply online. Employers publish company pages, post jobs, and manage applicants. Admins control jobs, companies, courses, CMS content, menus, newsletter campaigns, advertisement slots, and site settings — all from one panel.

The site is designed as a living career marketplace: seekers keep profiles and applications up to date, companies publish and refresh openings, and admins approve content, manage lookups (categories, locations, experience levels, and more), and run marketing through ads and email newsletters.

Administrator

Administrators can manage the whole platform:

Job Search

Browse current vacancies with keyword search, functional areas, categories, and location autocomplete (city / state / country). Featured jobs are prioritized. SEO-friendly listing URLs are supported for cities, industries, and functional areas. Listings use pagination for performance.

Courses & Training

Publish workshops and training programs with cover image, price, dates, syllabus, and accepted payment methods. Jobseekers submit enrollment requests; payment is arranged after confirmation (no online checkout on the form). Admins manage courses and enquiry status.

Ads & Newsletter

• Ads: 11 standard banner sizes across home, listings, and detail pages — use placeholders, uploaded creatives, or Google AdSense.
• Newsletter: Footer subscribe form, admin subscriber list, campaign composer with TinyMCE + image, send to active subscribers, and delivery report.

MAIN WEBSITE

From the public site, visitors can:

• Search jobs by title, skills, and location
• Browse companies, courses, categories, blog, and FAQ
• Register as a jobseeker or employer
• Subscribe to the newsletter

JOBSEEKER

After registration, a jobseeker can search jobs, apply online, maintain a profile and public page, track applications, enroll in courses, and manage account security.

EMPLOYER / COMPANY

After registration, an employer can complete the company profile, post and manage vacancies, review applicants, download CVs, update hiring status, and save candidate profiles.

ADMIN

The admin panel controls recruitment data, learning content, CMS/menus, marketing (ads & newsletter), lookups, locations, settings, and staff access.
