Provably Fair

When you open the game page the server generates a secret and a seed and reveals its hash (using HMAC SHA256 algorithm). The server secret represents random roulette position (from 0 to 36). The server seed is a cryptographically secure random alpha-numeric string. The hash of these 2 strings helps to ensure that the initial roulette position is not altered after you make a bet. After the game is finished the server secret and the server seed are revealed, so you can easily calculate and verify the hash.

During gameplay, the player can optionally provide a custom client seed. If it is not specified, a random value is automatically generated by the browser. The server then calculates another hash using the server secret, server seed and client seed. The last 5 characters of this hash (a hexadecimal value) are converted to an integer, which is used to rotate the roulette wheel a number of extra times. Because the client seed cannot be predicted by the server, the final roulette outcome is completely random and provably fair.

To verify that a game was fair, the player can go to History >> My games, select the game and click the Verify button.

• Set default bet amount
